Derwan. American Eskimo Dog

Hi! I am Derwan! You may have heard about me – I am one of the 95 American Eskimo dogs the Oregon Humane Society rescued from a puppy mill in Kennewick, Washington.

Coming from a puppy mill to OHS has been a hard transition for me. I have been groomed, altered, micro chipped, vaccinated and de-wormed. Now that I am looking and feeling better, I am ready to find my forever home. My new owners should know that I do not know how to walk on a leash yet, nor am I potty trained.

I tend to scare easily in new situations and will take time to adjust into a new home. Food is very important to me, so please do not disturb me while I am eating. My ideal home would be with someone who is experienced with under-socialized and shy dog behavior.

Derwan is a 4-5 year old male American Eskimo Dog currently sheltered with the Oregon Humane Society. Please click on Derwan’s photo for additional information.

I kind of feel sorry for the kids growing up with music after listening to this.
