Hi!

My name is Rosie. I am a three year old Boston girl who was found roaming the streets and ended up in the shelter. Even though I was wearing a beautiful pink collar with hand sewn rosebuds on it, no one came looking for me so I guess it’s time for me to find a new home with someone who will love me forever.

The shelter was a scary place for me – you see, I prefer people over other animals, in fact I would love to find a new home where I don’t have to share my snuggles and kisses with any other furry pets and I can be the apple of my owner’s eye. The shelter people were nice enough to call Boston Buddies and ask them to take me out of the shelter so I was not so stressed out. I weigh about 18 lbs, but while I was on the streets and in the shelter I lost a few pounds, so I plan to gain a couple pounds back now that I am safe in rescue and know where my next meal is coming from!

I love, love, love people and want nothing more than to hang out with you and take the occasional sun bath. I’m going to need someone to remind me of my house manners – the housetraining sort of went out the window while I was on the streets – but I am one smart cookie and with a little love and guidance I know it will come back to me. I love to go explore the neighborhood on walks – they say I have a lovely prance in my step.

I’ve been checked out by Boston Buddies’ vet and have been given a clean bill of health. I am up to date on my shots and have been spayed, fecal and heartworm tested (both negative) and micro chipped. I am ready to join a wonderful family and shower them with love.
